I think I might have found winter booties for my C4 but I am not too sure that the 8.5x18 ET 52 wheels I found will fit the front on my car. The back wheels I am looking at are 10x18 ET 65 so I am OK there the fronts I'm just not too sure about.

Has anybody tried this size on their cars?

Also, how does one determine the size rim needed for a particular tire. The deal I am working on includes a new set of 280/30 tires. Would they work on 10" rims?

TIA

Jeff

Yes 8.5 x 18 et 52 mm should fit without rubbing as long as the tires are under 245 (235 is fine 245 will rub some on lock to lock).

Actually, the winter tires included are 225/40 so it looks like I am good to go.

Loren, any thoughts on whether or not those 280 would fit 10" rims?

Thanks,

Jeff

Sure, anything from a 265 to 295 will work on that 10" wheel.

I run 285s on my 10 x 18s.

I guess I have my winter and 1/2 my summer resolved.

Thank you,

Jeff
