I have an '05 C2S with the sport exhaust option (factory installed). At times under hard acceleration (when in sport mode) the light will come on indicating the quiter setting. As soon as I let up on the throttle, the light goes off. The dealer said it is normal, that the engine computer is doing it to control back pressure. Anyone have the sport exhaust? Does it behave the same way? Does the dealer explanation sound accurate?

Thanks in advance.

I do have the PSE system installed on my C2S but it's activated through my Sports Chrono package... So no light to tell me what it's doing.

I did however find the way the system works kind of annoying, turning on and off all the time, mainly when I didn't want it to.

If you like the sound of sport mode, just disconnect the lead powering the bypass valves...

Yes, it cuts off at lower speeds with anything more that minor acceleration. I was told it was all normal operations... But since I didn't pay a couple thousand dollars to not hear my exhaust, I disconnected the shut-off.

Now it's on all the time. Unless I'm pushing it, it's not too loud for the neighborhood and my dealer doesn't have any issues with what I've done.
