Hotels in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen area

Hi, guys. The wife and I are planning a trip to Italy for our anniversary. I am also planning a stay in Stuttgart to visit the MB and Porsche museums and, hopefully, a day trip to the Nurburgring. Expedia shows these hotels in the area: the Achat Hotel Stuttgart which is in Zuffenhausen and the Relexa Waldhotel Schatten which is located at the old Solitude track. Have any of you stayed at these hotels? Can you recommend other hotels or B&Bs? Any comments will be appreciated.

The Porsche Club GB normally stay at the Adler - small town, few minutes from the factory - not an exclusive hotel but very friendly and comfortable - and an awesome bar in the cellar :beer:
