Looking for some info on waste gate upgrade. My car is getting around .9 to 1 bar boost. I was told I should be getting 1.1 to 1.2. I have a X50 with stage 2 programing. I was told to look into the waste gate. Any ideas guys?

You should replace both the wastegates and the diverter valves. I just had my X50 computer upgraded, along with the wastegates and DV, and am seeing consistent 1.1 - 1.2, with peaks of 1.3. With your stage 2 you should be seeing 1.2 bar boost. The stock wastegates are programed to open at 1.0 bar on X50s. I went with the EVO wastegates. Also look into upgrading the spark plugs to cooler ones. I blew my stock spark plugs and will be replacing them with Denson Iriduim IK22 plugs that are suppose to run cooler for the increased boost. Good luck.

The wastegate upgrade is STILL worth it. I was amazed at the midrange torque I got with the upgraded springs. Call Kevin @ Ultimate Motorwerks.
