Yeah its a grey box located right about where the hood release lever is.

Or if you are looking for the actual Computer for the entire car

thats under the hood passenger side near windshield.

You're probably talking about the DME, which as you stated, is on the passenger side underneath the windshield cowl. However, the DME doesn't have anything to do with the TMPS system.

would you know whats involved in fitting the tmps if it was not factory installed?

Bump +1 ... can the TPMS be added to the Cayenne if it is not originally installed? I've read that there is a TPMS module. If one buys the module, what is next?

I have read this post about the possibility to retrofit TPMS to a Cayenne with interest.

Looking at page 189 of the USA Cayenne parts catalog, I see a bunch of parts that seem to go on the rim. What about the grey box that is mentioned earlier in this post?

On page 524 there is mention of RDK / TPMS control units. One using 433 MHz and one 315 MHz frequency, but no part numbers.

The interesting part is that the OBC on my 04 Cayenne S already has an option to set psi or bar for the TPMS. I really believe this CAN be done. BUT HOW?

Any suggestions are welcome.

Joost
