Carrera exhaust system

CalCarrera

Recommended Posts

I'm new to the forum. I have a 1984 Carrera and plan to upgrade with a cat-back exhaust system. I'm looking at the B & B and the Dansk sport exhaust--they both run well over $600. They're both stainless steel. I'm leaning towards the B & B, but would like to know whether anyone has advise or comments. I'm looking for a good, pure sound and a healthy performance increase. Any help is appreciated....

Thanks, Jerry

A good combo on that car is a set of SSI's, pre74 style or sport type muffler. It also helps to have a alu sport Sachs clutch set-up with a Fidanza lightweight flywheel. The spin up is much quicker and exhaust has a great note, especially at higher rpms. :welcome:

Thanks for the info... I just had to school myself on the SSI setup. I still have to look into more--I don't want to bite off more than I can chew...
