essential toolkit - still looking for ideas

In a previous post, I was looking for ideas on a basic essential toolkit for working on boxsters, didnt get any ideas and was wondering if you need "stimulus".

I was thinking it probably begins with the right garage environment and an apprentice, I have attached a photo of my environment, notethe special workbench and test equipment, its a 3 group model in case you urgently need more than one on those tricky jobs. Apologies to our english friends it not made of china :-)

Seriously if anyone has a list of tools , would love to know.

A good set of metric wrenches and sockets (10mm to 19 mm).

A set of smaller Torx drivers (10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35).

A good torque wrench (that has not been dropped) (0 to 150 ftlb).

An average torque wrench for wheel bolts only (0 to 150 ftlb).

A good jack and a hockey puck ( to protect the underside when lifting the car).

Jack stands and/or sturdy ramps.

If you have a laptop computer then the Durametric Software for OBD II diagnosis and fault code resetting.

Those seem like a good start to me... :D

ICV bolts are larger Torx (maybe 40 or 45) as I recall.

Also, a good set of metric hex wrenches would be handy too.

Well, depending on your need there is one security Torx for the MAF. There are also a few triple square bolts (seatback locks on Carrera's and some transmission drain plugs). I think you buy those as needed.
