Exhaust Tip

Recommended Posts

Is the exhaust tip on the new GT3 black? Or is that the Carrera RS? I have seen it, but forgot which car it was on.

Loren, do you know the part number?

Would it fit on a 987?

Thanks.

I do not see a different tip for the GT3 (standard) vs. GT3 RS in the parts list.

I think the 987 tip is a single inlet that is held on with a clamp (and it just looks like it is a dual outlet).

On the GT3 (997) there are actually two outlets in the muffler and the tip is held on with two hex nuts.

Thanks, Loren, you are correct. Sunset Porsche said the part number is 997-111-253-90 and the price is $206.93. Too bad it won't fit, it's a great looking tip.
