Diff Between Cup And Carrera Kit Pre 7/01?

2 part question here:

1. Is the front spoiler on the Carrera Aerokit the same as the front spoiler in the Cup aerokit (both kits pre 7/01). It looks like just the rear wing is what is different in the 2 kits.

2. If so, is the front spoiler an entire piece (full bumper) that replaces the current front bumper and not just an extension (large lip, etc.) that attaches to it? Reason I ask is that is just looks like a standard front poiler on roids :eek:

1. Yes and no. The Carrera Rear spoiler kit is approved with either the standard bumper or the Aerokit Cup front bumper.

2. Yes. The Aerokit Cup front bumper replaces the entire front bumper and it has a small lip spoiler at the bottom. Here is the Aerokit Cup front bumper with lower spoiler on my car. (p.s. the third radiator is an option - lol)

I have a 2000 996 CAB and am curious if I can fit JUST the front GT3 spoiler and side skirts but NO rear spoiler. I am not very fond of that tiny spoiler <_<

Yes. I don't see why not. You still have a rear spoiler it just raises at speed.

Can the 01-present side skirts fit on a 99-01? Is the harware and skirts interchangable without modification?

The parts list says MY01 and newer but I do not know why they would not fit.
