Hmmm...I really appreciate your patience given the number of postings you have replied to on the Lost Radio Code topic...I tried both 4457 and 4455...to no avail...thanks. Will try stepping through 2 digit changes per you suggestion. Thanks Again.

The CR-220 in my '99 996 C2 Cabriolet has peeling buttons. A friend gave me his old one in mint condition, but alas, no code. Here's the info from the sticker on the side of the unit:

Type: CR-220

Model Number: BE 4362

Serial No: 15050296

EC: 116

I have the same problem, I wasn't aware of the unlock codes for the radio when I changed the battery.

      it has Original Radio CDR 23And weites Protect.

      when i Check with PIWIS there is a Site with Radio Code which is now 0000. 
      i Could change But have no Code.
       
      who can help me...i thought CDR 23 will Never loose Code

      My CR-220 plays the FM & AM & Cassette, doesn't play the 6 Pack CDs. Faceplate does not display, all presets work, and equalizer.  Is the problem in the face plate or radio?  Will getting another faceplate work with this radio?  Will it change the radio code.
