Oops, made a slight mistake on the serial number of the radio. It should be V5007981.

If you could send me the radio code for that  serial number it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Randy

I just gave you a code for a (different) radio on Sunday... what's up?

The radio didn’t work, the face lit up but remained blank. I took it back to the place and they gave me another one.

It was a CCR instead of a CDR maybe that had something to do with it.

Hi, i just bought a 996 turbo and the PO replaced the battery but he says when he went to hook up new battery and start the car, the radio asked for a code. The code that the book has as well as the code the dealer provides doesn't seem to work.

The unit is a Seimens/Becker PCM1 and the serial number is BE2582Y5007982

Unit model is a 2582

I will be calling Porsche corpporate or Becker corporate tomorrow but just thought i'd ask if someone on here might be able to find the code.

thanks

You did not read the

"Can you give me a code for my PCM?
These units are manufactured jointly by Siemens and Becker, and the only place where you can get the codes required is from the dealer/OPC. The PCM’s require two codes, the ICS/Siemens code, and a Becker code. The ICS is the first code requested.
Sorry, the only place you can get a PCM code is from a dealer/OPC."

My CR-220 plays the FM & AM & Cassette, doesn't play the 6 Pack CDs. Faceplate does not display, all presets work, and equalizer.  Is the problem in the face plate or radio?  Will getting another faceplate work with this radio?  Will it change the radio code.
