After finally noticing the post for retrieving the type and serial number of my CDR-220 without removing the radio; I'm hoping you can provide me with the correct code to get my 2001 996 radio operational again.

Just got the Porsche, how do I put the number in? Just the number and it will turn on or do I need to put * or # after? Or 1 to activate or 2 to deactivate? Thanks for the help.

My CR-220 plays the FM & AM & Cassette, doesn't play the 6 Pack CDs. Faceplate does not display, all presets work, and equalizer.  Is the problem in the face plate or radio?  Will getting another faceplate work with this radio?  Will it change the radio code.
