Lost Radio Code - post your request here

Recommended Posts

Hi Loren,

Any reason  why the radio is asking for a code when I turn it on if there is no code for the CDR23?

does it have to go to the dealer?

thanks,

sam

CDR-23 radios are matched to the car using PIWIS - so yes, either a dealer or shop with PIWIS.

No.

If the code I gave you did not work then chances are that your radio was repaired by someone other than Becker. If that is the case then I can not help you... sorry.

It looks like something is wrong with with the preset buttons 6-0,  when you try them nothing happens.  If I push 1-5 they do enter into the radio and the little * erase as I enter them.  So the buttons must be bad,  I think.

Really? Posting the same request 5 times?

I think you need to wait another day or two - for breaking site rules.

My CR-220 plays the FM & AM & Cassette, doesn't play the 6 Pack CDs. Faceplate does not display, all presets work, and equalizer.  Is the problem in the face plate or radio?  Will getting another faceplate work with this radio?  Will it change the radio code.
