Chuck Jones' - new 996TT

When I was negoiating with the dealer he mentioned that there was some CF in the car, but I had no idea of the extent of it. When Loren ran the option codes for me, it showed that all the CF work along with the aero kit was all done by Porsche as a special order item. Obviously, I'm extremely pleased with how this deal turned out. Althought this was a "long distance transaction"....it's a definite success story. So this is an example of how an eBay transaction can be a positive experience.

Here's another photo of Chuck's new car that my wife took. She keeps going on and on and on about that car...

I was completely amazed and also very humbled by my ride with Chuck in his TT. First off the car is just incredible. It really took my breath away three times because of the lightning acceleration. I was humbled by Chuck's driving skill as well. I thought I was a good driver until I rode with Chuck. Now I can see I have a LOT to learn. I'll definitely be at some autocross and DE events this next year!

Congrats again Chuck on getting a truly spectacular car!

Kirk

Chuck:

Congratulations on your good fortune. It looks like you turned an obviously devastating experience into a completely positive one. Your new ride is outstanding.

BTW, what is the color? Is it Midnight Blue?

Regards, Maurice.

Maurice: Yes...it is the Midnight Blue.....I was trying to find either an Iris Blue or the Lapiz (which is close to Iris), but this one came along and I just couldn't pass it up. It's a bit darker than I wanted, but in the sunlight, the blue comes thru. I'm enjoying it immensley....although I wouldn't wish a vehicle fire on anyone....in this case, it allowed me to finally get the car that I've always wanted.

Here's an updated picture of it with the new CCW wheels on it....these were custom made for me by CCW out of Florida and the quality is outstanding!!
