Parrot Bluetooth and MULTICAN for phone

Recommended Posts

FYI only, the mObridge MOST interface features a Parrot Bluetooth system integrated so all controls are active for iPod Aux Input and Video.

There is a product by Parrot which lets you use your steering wheel controls for your Bluetooth based phone using their CK3100 or CK3000 products. Below is the link. Has anyone tried it?

Thanks

I checked the mObridge site and could not find any reference to Parrot Bluetooth Integration. How does it work with Parrot? Do I need Parrot CK3100/CK3000 along with MULTICAN with mObridge MOST cable?

Thanks

Dan

Its fully available in November I understand, for the Cayenne its brand new.

The 3100 bypases the audio system it taps into the CAN bus as this is where the buttons are connected

The stuff on their website does no look like production quality.

Thanks for the information. Do you know by any chance what it will be called or if it will be available to consumers directly? From what I understand from mObridge website is that they don't sell to end users (consumers), they sell to resellers only. Also, will I need Parrot CK3100 instead of CK3000? I am going to purchase the kit probably over the weekend.

Thanks

Parrot also sell their technology to others, this is built into the new device.

As mudman pointed out, mObridge will have a solution in late october/november time frame that will allow both mp3/ipod and bluetooth phone connection with integration to car's oem steering wheel controls. That might be the only device I will need to connect my new ATT Tilt (WM6 based phone) to my Cayenne S and use both the phone and the multimedia at the same time. I can't wait for this.

Thanks again mudman for pointing it out.

This is a great forum!

Thanks

Dan
