my radio is dead ?

guys, please help. My radio is completely dead. I have the code but there is no lights , sound., nothing. What should I do. I have a 99 996 cabrio. thanks

Check the fuses - there is one on the main fuse panel B2 (second row from the top - second fuse in from the left. The other fuse is on the back of the radio - and the radio will need to be removed to check/replace that fuse. You will need radio removal keys to remove the radio - most sound shops have these.

thanks loren, I think its the fuse tried it, didn't work. The car is going to the shop tues any way, get it fixed then. thanks for your quick response
