help!!! i'm a bowtie guy working for a porsche nut, or just a nut, which is more likely. i know very little of y'alls world but i have the gift of technology and i know how to use it, that's why i'm here.

the boss has a 77 911s and is complaining of a ticking noise in the engine. someone told him the heads could be loose. any thoughts or suggestions on where to look and what to look for?

I think your boss's actual head is loose. Tell your boss to get some other flunky to do his dirty work! You are much too smart to be doing his work, on company time. :D

Here's what you need to do. Tell you boss it will cost him about $17.5K if you do the work for him, to fix his car. Also tell him you will need 3-4-days off to do the work, which you should be paid for. Then you take the car to a good Indy shop and pay to get the work done for about $10K. Then you pocket the difference, because I think you are being under paid!

If you live anywhere near Chatham, give Gene a call at Autohaus... He reliable, reasonable and won't try to sell you something you don't need... I've been using him for years.
