Guys, i would like to know if anyone have some experience with the Bilstein shocks on their 997. I have an '06 997C2, with an Eibach Pro-kit lowering kit installed. I heard that your stock shocks will wear out pretty fast with lowering springs, so i'm looking for some shocks, and heared that Bilstein is one of the best choices out there. They have 2 options, the HD, and the stiffer SP. Which one would fit best wit the Eibach springs?

The Bilstein HD shocks are actually designed for SUV's and trucks - this is what I put on my wife's ML320 SUV recently. My only concern is that the Bilstein bushings appear a bit flimsy compared to the OEM bushings. You may want to install them with the original bushings. I do not think they would be firm enough for your needs. The SP shocks are for sports cars according to Bilstein.

If you are not happy with SP, I recommend Bilstein PSS9 Coilover system so you don't need a separate coil. The ride is fantastic, performance solid, and you can make 9 way adjustable.
