Climate control LCD display replacement

Recommended Posts

  • 7 months later...

Found myself looking for a solution to lost lcd segments on my CC display. Read everyone's post and was looking for a concensus from individuals who performed this task with the Circuit Solutions kit. Spoke with co. and they insist it is an easy and well documented procedure. Their finish is glossy but my 2001 is matte so will need to apply a matte LCD protective finish. Anyone perform this task? Positive/Negative?

I purchsed - with some trepidation - the kit from Module Master http://www.modulemaster.com/en/services/porsche_lcd_kit.html.

Did the install about one month ago. So far it works exactly as described.

While the symbols are slightly different from the stock Porsche - it looks and works great. Took about one hour to do the change.

The instructions are detailed and complete. Photos on the site show you exactly what you will get. Totally excellent product.
