Thank you, I hope it will be of some help to people. I did hook up a backup camera with infrared night vision. Will I ever need it, NO, but it sound pretty cool! Learn a couple of tricks for camera hook up during install, I'll post some pics of it if you like. I will check for you about member pricing but I wouldn't count on it.

I like what you and your brother have done, Two suggestions about your ad, can you tell people how hard it is to find someone to do the job and how expensive it is? That way they realize that with your kit they wont have to RISK IT. Second can you also tell customers that it also works with BOSE base system? You have an amazing product and I wish you and your brother good luck.

Second can you also tell customers that it also works with BOSE base system?

How can you be sure of that ? See Trieullionaire 's post 23. He says the Bose speakers (2 ohms)must be replaced...

;

Also see the Post in 996 section named BOSE + MOST. It is said BOSE AMP must be changed with aftermarket head unit...

And what do you do with the Most (orange wires ) ?

Don't listen to me, I don't even have a MOST bus. There are people with that kind of a setup that can give you more informed answers. The info I got was from a Clutchfield advisor but they have limited knowledge on the MOST bus, unlike some of our own members. But please keep this thread from cluttering up on the comments and use PM to communicate to one another. I like to keep this thread as lean as possible so everyone don't have to sniff through everything to find what they're looking for.

Cheers,

OK, but since Porsche cars come with a MOST bus (since 2002), I think that it is important to know if your kit can be installed in such cars....

The Bose system is not so unusual, as well.....

I greatly appreciate your work and contribution to the Renntech community, and I reckon that many forumers (and not only me) would be glad to know more about the compatibility and abilities of your kit with 996, most, and Bose... :)

MOST started in MY2003.

I will do a DIY on it when I get a chance. I'm up to my neck with mods right now. I installed the camera on the upper part of my license plate. If you pick a camera, be sure its a true wide angle. Don't buy the cheap stuff, you get what you pay for in most cases. I went with the 180 degrees camera. Be careful of some the threads telling you need to drill holes in your Porsche in order to get the wires to the rear. There are existing holes to run wires through, just have to get a little creative on how to get them through.

By the way, what is the image of? Is that the amp or the stereo. If not the stereo, is there a MOST bus going into the stereo? Does anyone know?

As I can't post pics by PM, here are two pics of CDR23 rear panel and bose amp.

The orange wires are the MOST.

My brother will be having more kits on EBAY tonight. He's also selling the kits in separate components for those that just want part of the kit. You can just email him too if you need a kit with a certified address through Paypal. Here's the email cvt929@yahoo.com
