Windstop question

Recommended Posts

I currently dont have a windstop and my wife complains that her hair gets messy after a drive in the car, i am planning to install the kit myself or have the dealer install a kit for me... do you know is it hard to do DIY and if so...how many hours of labour to expect from the porsche dealer?

It is a DIY project but, I would still have the dealer do it IMHO. The windstop is a MUST HAVE option.

I posted this in the link also

i bought the windstop kit and it has arrived. in the kit i found the following 4 rivets, and 8 plastic things. see attached picture, i also bought a riveter but has never used one before

there are two rivets that have dark grey stems and no knob at the end (left on the picture) and two silver rivets with silver stems and knobs at the end (middle of the picture) and 8 plastic things (right on the picture)

can anyone tell me which rivets goes on the roll hoops and which rivets go on the middle padding and what are the black plastic things for??
