Server Lease Renewal/Software Licenses

Hello everyone,

My used 2002 Boxster is comes with Free Flow Cat w/ Check Engine Light from the previous owner. I was wondering can I ignore this CEL? Will it affects my car's air/fuel ratio or engine performance? :huh: Thanks in advance
