Fitting a Hardtop on a 987

Hi,

I've been offered a hardtop and they guy selling it say it doesnt need anything to fit it. It just uses a wire linkage connection which is on my car?

I thought I still needed spinlocks like the 986 does?

UPDATE: It does! And they are fitted in the same way as the 986 through a hole behind the trim panel.

UPDATE2: The spinlocks dont fit in the same way as on a 986. The roof needs removing as the pivot point of the roof has moved on the 987 blocking access to the bolt holes.

Local porsche dealer charged 3 hours labour for this!

Anyone buying a hardtop for a 987 needs to be aware of this additional cost!
