Found Wheel Bearing Removal Tool for rent.... 996/986

Hello all,

I recently replaced all of my wheel bearings on my 97 986 with the help of seafeye's "wheel bearing 101" and 102 articles.

Before I got started I was looking for a tool to take care of it, and for a reasonable cost.... well I couldn't find one for sale, but I found better. I found an article on a VW GTI wheel bearing change that looked eerily similar. They rented there tool from Germanautoparts.com

I called them up and spoke to Mark, and gave him the dimensions of the bearings, etc. And it seemed like a good match.

The tool rental was 25 bucks a week plus shipping and a 300 dollar deposit. The tool worked great, had bolts to remove the hub, and all the appropriate plates and cups to remove and install the bearings.

Very happy with the results, just wanted to give the list the heads up,
