GT3 front lip

Hi... I have a '04, Mk II GT3. If your Mk III is anything like my car....the front lip is a consumable item. You will scrape the pavement on driveways, may hit parking bumpers, fix it, replace it, and maybe even lose it. I even hit an insufficiently squashed racoon at speed and ripped the lip off, ran over it, then retrieved it out of a farmer's field. I got very good at re-afixing it over and over. I now buy the cheaper motorsport part meant for Cup race GT3's. If your experience is like mine.....just leave it flat black.

Amen to that. I don't even grimace much anymore when I scrape the front lip. A big black marker in my glove box to touch it up or some fine sandpaper to smooth a tattered edge helps. When it looks too bad I'll replace it.
