PCM Radio Dead

hi

i just bought a 2000 model porsche boxster S, 5 speed automatic gear - tiptronic

the radio system is Porsche PCM and under the radio it is written Porshe navigation

the problem is that the whole system is dead and refuses to turn on, there is no error msg

what can i check? to try to figure out the problem

Check the fuse , I think its B9. but your owners handbook or the small card inside the fuse ox cover should confirm this.

Check the fuse , I think its B9. but your owners handbook or the small card inside the fuse ox cover should confirm this.

I think thier is a fuse at the rear of the unit as well but to check that you need to remove head unit and look at the back ?

i checked the fuse in the box and it seems ok

i found out after i followed the instructions that the fuse in the back of the unit is broken as well as a fuse in row E which refered to as info fuse

i replaced both and unit working.

i jst need to find the code and i am all set.
