Ignition wires

The lead that comes from the ignition switch (pin 50) to the starter relay is Yellow (pin 30).

The relay sends two yellow wires to the solenoid (power) and the chassis of the starter is ground.

Perhaps you could tell us more about the problem you are trying to solve?

Hi Loren,

Im trying to install a engine start button kit, it requires me to hookup the two wires from kit to

the leads coming from ignition barrel that lead to the starter motor solenoid.

In this case, are we talking about two yellow wires from 50?

How to locate these wires easily?

thanks

I heard here someone installed it on the boxster section and worked out nicely...

I still have to put the key in and turn it to last position and then press button.

I thought I had to connect it under dash, behind ignition?
