Hi looking for a bit of advice please.

I have a misfire on cylider 4 on idle, never affects any other cylinder. Do not notice it once driving. Checked by local mechanic and his diagnostic computer just tells him misfire on 4, engine warm - or something like that. Engine Management Light does not come on. Recent service when all plugs/coils changed, and just replaced coil #4 again but made no difference. Can anyone make suggestion. I have an extended dealer (Not Porsche) aftercare warranty, but they will not pay for diagnosis so everything i try will cost me until fault found.

Live in North Scotland so nearest Porsche dealer 2 hour drive away.

Thanks in advance

John

I will recommend a Porsche PIWIS diagnostic tool to check out the fault codes, and to do deeper examinations of the problem, could be the injector or something else. Guessing and replacement of parts without result is too expensive.
