Hi all,

I have an intermittent buzz coming from the front defroster panel. I took it in to an OPC but they did little more than butcher it and solved nothing so I had a go myself. Replacing the clips that the OPC had either lost or bent beyond any use. I thought I had solved it as I had wrapped the locating pins and clips in a material tape but after a long journey it was back. Any ideas as to how I can solve this much appreciated.

Much of the whole dash is press fitted. I'd try some pressure on the all the seams. Might be something besides the defroster. If your dash has been taken apart and put back together a number of times the tight fit might be lost until you replace the offending part(s).

Good luck.

And :welcome:

Thanks I've had the panel in/out a dozen times now. Hopefully I've cured it. Now the nearside (UK) door has a buzz with low end Bass. does it ever end?
