OEM GT3/aero front bumper part number

Recommended Posts

Loren,

Can you help identify this part number from a MK1 GT3 or areo front bumper "996 505 983 01"? PET for the GT3 identifies a 983 02 number which I believe is for the MK2. PET for the aeokit does not identify the bumper as a standalone number. I believe the 983 01 must be for the MK1. Can you confirm?

Thanks,

Peter

996 505 983 01 is for a MK2 GT3 as is 996 505 983 02.

Mk1 GT3 bumpers start with 996 505 980 xx.

Loren,

Bumper came off a 2000 model (see picture) I double checked the part number and it is stamped "996 505 983 01"?? post-27542-1244322660_thumb.jpg

That bumper looks correct.

But the fab assembly number is not the part number.

I wonder if this is possible a part number for the aero bumper and it is numbered different than the GT3 for MK1??
