Anti-Lock and ABD Lights On

Recommended Posts

I have a 1995 911 (Model 993) with 102,000 miles. Periodically the Anti Lock and ABD warning lights come on--could be at any speed and the problem is intermittent. If I turn the ignition off and restart the engine, the lights usually go out. And I have confirmed the antil lock is working when the lights are out and not working when the lights are on. Could this be a relay problem?

Is there a simple way to test the relay?

(FYI, I just replaced a defunct fuel pump relay.)

Could be a fault with a pressure accumulator. They can't hold a pressure charge and the pump has to intermittently recharge the system pressure which cause the light to be on and off. You can also have the ABS system checked for codes.

I have the same problem with 993 TT  ABS and ABD light on .

Fault code is (intake valve )

Anybody know where is the intake valve ? How to solve this problem ?

It would be helpful if you would post:

Exact model and year of the car

Exact fault code(s)
