Hi guys,

After a long wait I finally got the spare tire carrier installed on my cs06. My buddy shop is having a hard time trying to connect the wires to the car. The project got in to a halt for that reason. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks Loren. They are having a problem with the locking device connector. I was told today that I might need a relay, a harness, and an ECU for the carrier. Is that true?? I don't think I need all that. Is there a plug where the wire of the carrier plugs in to? Thanks

Everything they need is described in the 12 page TSB.

Perhaps they should have read it before they started - it states that some cars with option equipment will need additional parts (and it lists them).

If you want to see the TSB - you need to be a Contributing Member here.

Loren, I will become a contributing member as soon as possible.

The body shop has the TSB from Porsche. They don't know the missing part#s, (my guess they don't know how to translate it). I also need to know how to find out whether my car is equipped or not. It's a Cayenne 2006 Titanium. Thanks for your help
