I'm curious is your Porsche your daily driver, how far do you drive, and what were your previous daily drivers?

My '09 C4S is my daily driver and I drive about 2500 miles per month.

Since High School my daily drivers have been: '?? Opel Station Wagon, '72 Mercury Comet, '77 Toyota Celica, '81 VW Rabbit (Diesel), '83 Datsun 280ZX, '94 Infiniti J30, '90 Honda Accord, '00 Pontiac Trans AM, '02 Lexus LS-430, '07 Lexus SC-430, and now the '09 C4S.

99 C2 Cab is my daily driver. I bought it with 80k miles on the odometer just a little under 2 years ago, and now I'm at 114k. I drive at least 50 miles roundtrip to the office five days a week. On the weekends, it usually goes much further. Lots of trips to Galveston, Austin, etc.

Before that was 2 years driving an 04 Ford Escape XLT (boring but reliable, had gotten tired of getting stranded by the Mustang, dumped it for the Porsche).

Before that was a 1966 Mustang 289 Coupe.

Before that was a 1987 Mustang LX Convertible

Before that was a 1983 Pontiac Bonneville Station Wagon (with sporty mag wheels)

My 02 Targa is my daily driver during the summer. I take the local highway even though it takes longer just to experience the on-ramp and off-ramp :-)

My previous daily drivers were

1986 Pontiac Fiero SE

1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula (after a hair-raising experience rolling my 86 on an ice-covered highway)

2000 Chevy Blazer (winter car)

2002 C2 Targa

I became very used to having the engine behind the driver...and always wanted to upgrade to a 911.

My carrera 2s is not a daily driver. I drive a 99 ml320, and a 66 ford f100 as daily drivers.

Before the porsche I drove BMWs. I started with a number of 2002s, and ended with a 2001 540is.
