What's our windshield wiper size?

You need to buy Porsche OEM since the passenger side has a curve in two axis to fit the wind shield properly. 3rd party replacements from pep boys for example, will hit the edge of the windshield on the passenger side.

I hate reviving old/dead threads-but after some searching (I've been practicing that!)-I'm running into some "issues" with replacement wiper blades-I've tried Rain X, Bosch, and Michillen-the prob that I'm running into is that even with the largest adapter in the shepards hook-they are still loose (as compared to the OEM wiper from the dealer I kept)-any suggestions? Is there a spec. 22" from RainX I should be looking at?

Thanks as always!

You are absolutely right about the OEM. They make contact with the windshield better, and are definitely worth the money.

I have just about had it with aftermarket windshield wiper blades, regardless of the vehicle. The right length is only part of the story.

I use the valeo and it fits nicely...the passenger side tip is just slightly raised above the glass, but works (and looks) much better than OEM.

PIAA makes curved wiper blades that fit perfectly on the passenger side. Hers's a link for a website based in the UK, you can probably find some in the US if you search a bit. I found mine on Ebay some time ago, if you're patient you should see some more.

I can very warmly recomend the PIAA blades. I had them on my previous car (a Smart Roadster Brabus) and they were the first thing I replaced when I bought the Porsche. The spoiler one for the drivers side and the curved for the passenger side. Once you've gotten used to the PIAA's, you'll never wanna go back to anything else ;)
