Weird Whirling Noise at Cold Start

I am experiencing a Weird Whirling Noise at Cold Engine Start. The sound will goes away when restart the car during the day. Is this the secondary Air Pump? I have attached the audio clip here. Thanks in advance.

Audio clip didn't work for me, but if it only occurs during cold start it is likely the air pump.

I would check the poly-V belt, all rollers, alternator, water pump, etc. and the startmotor as well. Therefor, remove with cold engine, the poly-V belt. Start the engine, if the noise is still there, the startmotor could be the problem, if the noise is no longer present, search the problem in the belt and rollers area.

Ditto RFM (I'm just a hanger on, agree with every body)

Bearings, like the ones in all the spinney things on your motor. can easily be noisy on cold starts especially in a cold climates...& after a really cold night, it is probably nothing to worry about. yet. A Slightly loose belt is pretty high piched and kind off chirps somtimes. That will go away once warmed up to.

I have the same sound and I suspect that it is the starter engine. I noticed that if I keep my key turned to ignition little bit more (1-2secs after starting) the sound does not come.
