Sunset Imports - No Response

Recommended Posts

I sent Sunset Imports an email request to the link provided in their Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost page, but have received no response. Do they not answer emails?

I always call them instead of emailing. It's an 800 number and everyone in parts knows what they are doing. It's easier to discuss all the piece parts needed and alternatives than bouncing emails back and forth, confirm everything will fit, and I find out availability for when my order is going to ship. Unfortunately, I always think of other things I want or need, so it ends up costing more than I originally expected to spend

I just talked to the folks at Sunset Imports - they said they got large influx of emails overnight and they are catching up.

Bob (McCarthy) said you should get a reply sometime today.

Reply received today. Thanks for the response.

Got a call a little later from my dealer. My Transsyberia is on a truck somewhere between the port (I forgot to ask which port.) and the dealership. Delivery could be tomorrow or Thursday, at the latest. It's gonna feel strange not riding behind a Star after all these 37 years.
