SharkWerkz upgrades

Recommended Posts

Howdy all, brand new here and am loving y first Porsche! An 05 Turbo S Cab.

Most amazing car I've ever driven but being a hot rodder and gear head, I always end up tinkering around.

I've been looking at the V-power intake kit, billet diverter valves and ECM flash from sharkwerkz.

The car already has a TUBI exhaust so I'm good there.

What kinds of experiences have you folks had with sharkwerkz and thier stuff? Is it worth it?

Seems like about 100hp is a pretty good jump for not alot of work.

What about other vendors?

thanks in advance!

Sharky has a fine rep so I think you are good to go. I would stay far from the V-flow though...I blew several MAFs with that thing...I know it works for some, but seriously I think you will get very little for that mod. The DVs and flash will be fine as is.

alex and james did some work on my 996 turbo , the flash is a must !!!!!! big difference from stock and i just ordered the gt2 clutch conversion from them this week these guys are very good at what they do i will continue to do work with them , alex also said the same thing you dont get much hp from the intake and it does make the maf go bad but they have a hitachi maf conversion that they do and its much more reliable , give them a call

Alex, James, and Dan are the folks at Sharkwerks.....they've done some work for me in the past and they're known in the Bay Area as reliable, professional, and knowledgeable folks. They are board sponsors on some of the Porsche forums. They primarily deal with EVOMsit as a flash along with other EVOM products, and can accomodate and install just about any sort of upgrade you have the money to pay for.
