PSE, should I bite?

is the fisterD mod the one with that short bypass pipe welded in? How does the sound stack up against the PSE? Loren, should I be checking for these rattles before or after it's installed?

Yes about the fisterD mod.

Check for rattles before you purchase it. If it rattles it is likely toast.

Fister has two versions of the mod. Mark I and Mark II. I don't remember which Mark is which but One is exactly the same as PSE and sounds exactly the same as PSE on loud mode all the time, the other connects the pipe entering the muffler from the cats to the exit pipe. This sounds amazing and if I was doing it again, I would buy this one. I have the PSE clone and love it.

Cheap and fast turnaround.

I got it! No rattles of any kind, the owner takes good care of his car and was just upgrading to something louder. I got a great deal <700! Just turning it on and it sounds like a different beast, a louder snarl and more of a growl than a purr. It's like upgrading from a housecat to a panther! It's not obnoxious either. Also no wiring or switch was installed so it's always open, and surprisingly, on the inside, it isn't much louder, only when I'm laying on the gas or rev match downshifting can you really tell from the inside that it has the PSE. Of course with windows down and just cruising around town, it's just like you said Dharn, it has that throatier sound. I love it! Subtle yet spicy! Thanks for all the help and advice guys! Now I'm off to the parking garage to see if I can set off some car alarms : )
