Cruise control activation

Recommended Posts

I'm new in porsche world. I'm going to buy my first boxster on this week...i hope so..

The car doesn't have cruise control (tempostat) but i saw the tutorial of one of us. In my last car Audi TT I installed cruise control alone with activation too using PC and cable.

I like to install on my own cruise control on porsche but i don't know how to set and i don't know what kind of cable and software is necessary. Does anyone can help me???

Thanks Claudio

Thanks, I was looking for something more cheaper...probably the blue table for diagnostic is more expansive.

Does anyone know something different or I should buy Durametric system???...But with Durametric is possible cruise control activation??

The cheapest way to fit this equipment is to buy the parts from a car breakers or e bay and have a porsche specialist code the option. There is no need to buy the expensive professional durametric software just to recode one option. I have retro fitted the alarm system and multi function steering wheel controls both of which only took about 30 mins of time to recode .
