Lcd Screens In The Headrest

Recommended Posts

I bought a set from ebay from my porsche cab however i changed my mind and installed them into my bmw m3 cab instead.

they are fantastic. I ordered a set of built in sun visor screens a dvd player/sat nav and also screens for the head rests..

they play dvd, svd, cdwr, mp3, mpg, mpg2, jpg, divx, and lots more...

all for around £460.00 plus £70 shipping

the picture quality is excellent and sound is perfect and the seller even sent little porsche entertainment system graphics for the screens which look superb!, however i didnt fit them as it would look funny in a bmw.

bought them from ebay a few month ago. I also got them fitted for £190.00 which was great.

I suggest you check the size and depth of the screen very carefully before you start cutting. I have heard that many aftermarket LCD screens will not fit into the Cayenne's small headrests. At least one company, Quality Mobile Video, sells replacement headrests with screens, but they are pricey. (Disclaimer - I don't have any affiliation with that company.) I hope this helps.

I'm looking at putting a DVD player with LCD's in the headrests

Has anyone done this before?

What systems do you recommend?

Check out Vizualogic.com

I purchased the headrests with built in monitors for my wife's MB ML430. They fit quite well and are of high quality. I haven't yet tried the install on the Cayenne--I'm a bit wary.... :(
