Can't Mark New Content Posts As Read.

Recommended Posts

Loren

After reading my New Content I can't seem to mark it as read.  If I click the link, it takes me back to the Forums menu, but if I click View New Content again, I see all the posts again.

I tried it with IE8 and Opera, and it does the same.

Any ideas?

You can remove these ads by becoming a Contributing Member.

View New Content is just a custom search based on both stored information in the database AND on cookies in your browser.

First check to make sure you are only looking at "...content since your last visit".

If not change it and save.

Next go to the bottom of the forums and "Delete My Cookies".

You will need to re-login but then View New Content will be synch'ed with your browser.

If you frequently browse from different computers (or browsers) you may need to Delete My Cookies more often to synch the browser with the database.
