I have been lurking around and think the forum is great.

I have recently acquired a 1983 SC Targa with a Montreal CR 40 radio. I think it was installed in the late 80's. There is no manual for entering the code. The owner thinks it was 2600. I dont think this may be correct. I also have not found any instructions online for the entering of the code that matches an older Montreal. This radio has only 5 preset buttons. I beleive it may have come from another car and not a Porsche. Any help in the right direction is appreciated. I really like the old radio but I need a code and directions for entering them.

I have seen nothing online that looks like the same pattern of numbers as these?
