997-1 Launch Assist Question

Does anyone know if there is launch assist on a 2007 911S automatic. Yes it's an automatic, no laughing. When I hold the brake and hit the gas the RPMs drop, but then come back up. The tail also raises. I have not done much more than that, but something is happening. Any ideas? Thanks.

Tiptronic cars have not launch control, the car's behavior is normal (997-1), an input signal from the brakes and a signal from the accelerator at the same time is considered by the DME as an implausible signal, try it out while driving, on the accelerator and brake at the same time, you should have a warning on the dash.

Correct, no launch control for you. I believe only the GT2 and 997 with the PDK and SportChrono Plus have launch control.

Launch control is only possible if the car is equipped with a PDK transmission, and than optionally. Never with a Tiptronic.
