2004 Cayenne S, 48,000 miles, no fault codes indicated(Durametric software) , all service current, no prior problems. I locked the Cayenne with the remote, 30 minutes later the remote will not unlock the drivers door, all other doors unlock. The drivers door will not unlock with the remote, it will not unlock with the key and it will not open from the outside or inside. I spoke with Porsche Dealership (top tech) they were not aware of this problem, he said he had only heard of this if a body shop had been working on the door. No one has worked on my door. Anyone had a similar experience or suggested fix?

I had to have one door switch replaced this month. The issues as that it would "misfire" and lock and unlock randomly. Different from yours, but could require the same fix.

A short update. The Bowden cable had a kink in it and was stuck half way between the open and closed position. A new cable will be installed next week and all should be good again. Thanks eVoMotion for your help.
