Upgrading Multifunction Steearing wheel from 1.to 2.genearation 997 ma

I have 997 carrera 4s 2008 1.generation manual transmition.

Is it possible to upgrade Multifunction Steearing wheel from 1.generation to 2.genearation?

wow that wheel is nice. The functions look the same to me so I don't see why you couldnt.

Do we have a price on the gen2 wheel?

Its cca 2000eur with airbag. The question is does multifunction works and are the conectors plug and play?

Shouldn't be any problems. Dealers sell that same wheel as an upgrade for the gen 1 car. Check 'em out at the Suncoast Porsche parts site if you want to confirm.

2000 Eu sounds very expensive , I assume this includes not only the new wheel but also airbag and the control module to interface with the car CANBUS. You will also need to get the wheel recoded by a dealer so the new module is recognised. If you are simply looking for a recontoured wheel that is thicker then a cheaper option would be to get it recovered or buy a wheel from Techart that can re use your existing wheel controls and airbag. Personally I went the techart route.
