Seat Heaters not working after battery change

Like the title says, I changed the battery after the original died. Now the seat heaters aren't working. Checked the fuses. Didn't see any issues. The fuse panel doesn't specify a specific fuse for the seat heaters. I checked everything that looked like a contender, but no joy.

Any thoughts on what to look for next?

Disconnect the + and the - cable from the battery, connect the loose + and the loose - cable with a jumper cable for a few minutes (reboot), reconnect the + and the - cables on the battery, trey again.

I think the theory is that touching the two disconnected battery cables together will "discharge" any residual juice in the electronics and then act sort of like a "reboot", as RFM stated.

No joy.

I left a 12 ga wire connecting the 2 loose cables for about an hour.

Any other thoughts?

It is strange because both seat stopped working at the same time, so i guess it is something in the “control” of the seats.... it is quite unlikely that both heating systems will stop to work simultaneously, so this should be something regarding the commanding of the heating system.

This happened to my car after a battery replacement. Both seat heaters refused to come on.

I went to the Porsche dealer and they re-configured the option code for heated seats in the system computer.

Everything Worked fine right away after that. Dealer did not charge anything (car was under wattanty).
