Cayenne Interior lights stopped working

Recommended Posts

On a 2006 Cayenne, the Front interior lights, both vanity Sun Visor lights and the 2 back seat interior lights do not work. The issue began when the drivers side Sun Visor broke.

I have since replaced the Drivers Side Sun Visor but the light still do not work.

As a note, the interior light over the trunk work and the red lights in the doors work.

Any help Appreciated.

Thanks Loren. I checked the only fuse that was labeled for the interior lights in my manual and it was good as when I removed it, the light over the trunk door went out.

There is only 1 fuse for the interior lights? My vehicle is a 2006 V6 Cayenne. I believe the fuse I removed was labeled 12 on the drivers side fuse location.

I am thinking "why are you asking this question about your Cayenne on the 996 Forum." But then I think I know, Because most of us 996 owners send a lot more time working on our cars than the Cayenne owners do.:clapping:

Problem Solved. It was a fuse that needed to be replaced, it was fuse no. 27 which according to my manual isn't used.

Thanks Again.

Hello what amp fuse did you use for the empty slot 27? I ha e the same exact problem. My car is 09 Turbo S
