Engine knocking noise - Cayenne S 4.5

I have the same problem with my 2008 cayenne S 106,000 miles now been driving it for a year and a half. I'm of course concern took it to 2 different expert Porsche mechanic one said replace engine without even doing a diagnostic and one said just sell for parts. I'm not mad at them I'm mad with Porsche as to why???

Anyways I'm still driving it and doing the proper maintenance till it explode. Aside from the noise its fine, I just floored it to 110mph the other day. all this problem started about 102,000 miles engine light is on too but that's because of cat.

and that's my story.

Sounds like you went to two people but at least one of them is not professional.  Seek a mechanic who has experience on this platform.

If you think it's bore scoring the cheapest and easiest way it can be confirmed is with an oil analysis.  That engine is Alusil so that would be my first concern.

If you have scoring I would switch to Driven FR50.  Also I would change the oil frequently because you will get more contamination which will exacerbate the problem.
