How to remove the cup holder Boxster S 2003

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

I know this must have been covered before ( I have searched but no joy), but I am trying to remove my existing cup holder and replace it. The car has a PCM and the cup holder is the later type which is located above the PCM. It also has a one piece horsehoe which I have been able to remove.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Pat

You have to remove the cover and central vent from the dashboard first.

Then press the metal clip and hold while pulling the cup holder out of the retaining bracket.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, I have managed to remove the horseshoe shaped cover but the central vent won't budge. Is there a clip holding it in place or do I just pull harder?
