G'day, my "Porsche Boxster & Boxster S" sales book (dated 2000) states that the three spoke wheel is standard, but there is a four spoke wheel option (check for option code X26 under bonnet & in manual) . Otherwise I'd ask a few q's about it.

(also in australia)

Interesting, as my sales book definitely states four spoke steering wheel (with leather).

Yes, that would be correct standard 4 spoke steering wheel but rather than leatherette - real leather option X26.

If I have determined that I have option X26, and my steering wheel is leather, does that mean the grip, airbag, spokes, and base are all leather? Or, are certain parts leatherette? I am interested in knowing because I am planning to change the color of my four spoker, and the process and chemicals vary depending upon the material. Thanks, I appreciate any help.
